EWMI implemented the USAID-funded Ukraine Accounting Reform Project under a 3-year subcontract with Chemonics International. The objective of UARP was to combine a public/private strategy to set standards and promote financial accounting practices that approach international standards and practices. EWMI provided assistance on the design and implementation of a program for the training, examination and certification of professional accountants and accounting practitioners. EWMI experts assisted in reforming the university curriculum and provided assistance on organizational and financial capacity development of Ukrainian accountancy associations
