The CCEP is working to increase the efficiency and transparency of court processes in Croatia.  The project has put the topic of active case management (ACM) high on the agenda of three pilot courts in Zagreb, and some ACM tools promoted by EWMI were included in reforms to the Civil Procedure Code that were adopted in July 2022.   EWMI is working with the Ministry of Justice and courts to encourage effective implementation of the reforms. EWMI is also encouraging cooperation between the courts and external actors (such as governmental agencies) to reduce delays in judicial proceedings.  In addition, the CCEP focuses on court management and court administration, emphasizing building the capacity of court managers, and more effective court communications and public outreach.
